Instructions#
If you find that there are no records in the search results, wait 1 day after completing this guide, and then check the indexing status again. You will find that the submitted website has been indexed.
Method#
- Open the console: https://search.google.com/search-console/welcome?hl=en
- Enter the domain name as prompted, add DNS resolution. The verification method I used is CNAME. After adding, click verify.
- Click on the website you just verified in the left navigation bar. You can only view data for the newly added website after 1 day:
Optimization#
The Search Console will periodically crawl the website content. When content that does not comply with best practices is found, it will send a notification email. At this point, you need to make changes based on the suggestions provided, and then find the problematic content in the Search Console, click the verify fix button, and inform Google to recrawl the previously problematic content.
Check if Indexed#
Open Google, enter the following content in the search box (replace yourdomain.com with your own top-level domain), and then click the search button:
site:yourdomain.com

Analysis#
Based on the entries indexed by Google, it can be inferred that GoogleBot will first visit the added URL, then collect all hyperlinks (<a/>) on that entry page, and subsequently visit those hyperlinks to collect the hyperlinks on those pages.
Suggestions:
- The path level should not exceed two levels, meaning the maximum level should not exceed
/a/b
. - If some URLs are not displayed on the page, then you need to submit a sitemap.
